世界首富的人生智慧！比爾蓋茲提14條建議：相信世界會更好
世界首富、微軟共同創辦人比爾蓋茲（Bill Gates）身家860億美元（約臺幣2.61兆），卻沒有有錢人的架子，總是顯露其謙遜不藏私的一面。週一（15日）他在推特（Twitter）發表了14條給畢業生的人生建議，大談對未來趨勢看法、以及自己對人生的態度。

比爾蓋茲提到，AI、能源、生物科學在將來都是可以創造影響力的領域，並表示如果自己從現在開始重新選擇方向，那將是自己會去發展的領域。
3/ Looking back on when I left college, there are some things I wish I had known.
比爾蓋茲接着表示，他花了幾十年的時間才明白，世界上有着嚴重的不平等現象，隨着網路、資訊普及，現在的學生有着比當時更多的資源、瞭解得比當年的他還要更多，他鼓勵畢業生爲這些不平等的事情奮鬥，努力的去影響這個世界；但他也提到，無論選擇什麼方向，生命中有些事情都是一樣的，當年輟學時他並沒有搞清楚，智慧其實沒有當初他想像的那麼重要：畢竟它可以有很多不同的樣貌。

5/ I also have one big regret: When I left school, I knew little about the world’s worst inequities. Took me decades to learn.

比爾蓋資鼓勵年輕一代，應該跟會挑戰、會推動自己、可以一起成長並且教導自己的人相處，「例如梅琳達・蓋茲（Melinda Gates，比爾蓋茲妻子）之於我，或是像華倫・巴菲特（Warren Buffett）一樣的人」。他提到自己衡量快樂與否的關鍵，在於能否帶給自己身旁的人快樂、親近的人是否也深愛自己，以及他能爲旁人做出哪些付出。

如果要送給畢業生一份禮物，比爾蓋茲則提到，自己會選擇「啓發我最深的一本書」——加拿大心理學家及作家 Steven Pinker 所寫的《The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined》——書中談到如何讓世界變得更好，並把這股力量散佈到更多地方：這並不表示不去面對嚴重的問題，只是要相信問題可以被解決。
